Das
relativ große Skigebiet, bestehend aus Mitsumata, Kagura und Tashiro
erreicht man mit der Dragondola von Naeba
aus in ca. 20 Minuten, oder mit großen Pendelbahnen entweder von Tashiro
oder Mitsumata. Kagura befindet sich zwischen den beiden Gebieten und
stellt sozusagen die Verbindung der Gebiete her. Wenn man von Matusmata
mit der Seilbahn in das Skigebiet schwebt erreicht man zuerst die leicht
bis mittelschweren Abfahrten von Matsumata, die von zwei kuppelbaren
Vierersesselbahnen (eine mit Haube) erschlossen werden. Hier finden auch
die Snowboarder ihr Revier im gigantischen Funpark. Nach einer kurzen
Abfahrt, die von zwei alten Einersesselbahnen und eine Doppelsesselbahn
erschlossen sind und als Rückbringer nach Mitsumata dienen, erreicht man
die gut 3 km lange Sechsergondelbahn nach Kagura. Die Abfahrt unterhalb
der Gondelbahn ist sehr flach und man kommt daher nur langsam wieder
zurück Richtung Mitsumata. In Kagura angelangt starten die steileren
Abfahrten. Ein halbes Dutzend Doppelsesselbahnen und eine kuppelbare
Vierersesselbahn mit Hauben erschliessen die zumeist mittelschweren und
leichten Abfahrten unterhalb des 2029m hohen Gipfels. Ab und zu führt
auch eine schwere Abfahrt zu Tale. Die Pisten und Lifte befinden sich hier
in lichtem Wald. Nachdem man sich von einigen Liften hat Richtung Tashiro
schaukeln lassen ist man im leichtesten Gebiet angekommen. Es gibt hier
eigentlich nur leichte Abfahrten mit einer mittelschweren Piste. Eine
kurze Doppelsesselbahn bringt einen zur Bergstation der Seilbahn, die
direkt von Tashiro ins Skigebiet schwebt. Weit ist es von hier nicht mehr
zum Restaurant Alm von wo aus die Dragondola nach Naeba
startet. Eine moderne Vierersesselbahn mit Hauben bringt die
Wintersportler bequem wieder zu den leichten Pisten am Tashiro 1.
Das Skigebiet ist eher ein Geniessergebiet, da die Abfahrten zumeist
leicht sind, man findet zwar immer wieder mal eine kurze schwere Piste
aber Könner werden eher die steilen Hänge am Mt.
Naeba bevorzugen. Während des Skitages hat man einen herrlichen Blick
auf den Lake Tashiro der in das Gebirgsmassiv eingebettet vor einem liegt.
Auch kulinarisch wird hier einiges geboten, so kann man in Restaurant Alm
sogar schweizer Racelette essen oder in den Japanischen Restaurants ganz
typisch ohne Skischuhe im Schneidersitz essen. Am Ende des Skitages lockt
die Skiroute hinunter nach Mitsumata, oder Fahrt mit der Dragondola
hinüber nach Naeba, leider gibt es
keine Abfahrt nach Tashiro und man ist auf die Seilbahn angewiesen...
This relatively large ski resort, with the areas of
Mitsumata, Kagura and Tashiro, can be reached with the Dragondola from Naeba
within 20 minutes, or with the aerial ropeway either
from Tashiro or Mitsumata. Kagura is located between the resorts and is
for all intents and purposes the connection between the areas. If you
take the aerial ropeway from Mitsumata up to the resort you reach at first
the easy and intermediate runs of Mitsumata. The runs are served by two
high speed quads (one with cover (bubble)). There is the large funpark for
the snowboarder in this area. After a short run you reach the 3 km long
high speed six person gondola to Kagura. Back to Mitusmata are two old
single chair lifts as well as a double chair. The run underneath the
gondola is very flat and you need time to ski or ride back to Mitsumata.
In Kagura are the more steeper runs and a half a dozen double chairs and a
high speed quad with bubbles open up the mostly intermediate runs
submontane the peak (2029m). Now and then is an advanced run between the
other runs. If you reach Tashiro you are in the area where the most easy
runs are, there is only one intermediate run. A short double chair takes
you up to the top station of the aerial tramway from Tashiro. Only a short
run and you can reach the restaurant Alm from where the Dragondola leads
to Naeba. A modern high speed quad with bubbles moves the skiers and
riders up to the slopes at Tashiro 1. The area in Tashiro is more a resort
to enjoy because the runs are easy and you have a nice view to Lake
Tashiro, located at the base of the resort, nestled within the mountains.
Advanced skiers and riders prefer the steep runs at Mt.
Naeba. In the resorts are a lot of different mountain huts
and restaurants. The restaurant Alm serves Swiss Raclette and the other
Japanese restaurants serve traditional Japanese food. At the end of a day
you can take the ski route down to Mitsumata or the Dragondola back to
Naeba, sadly there is no run down to Tashiro and you have
to take the aerial ropeway back to Tashiro... |
