Nach
einer knapp halbstündigen Fahrt durch den Mount Buffalo National Park teilt sich die
Straße zum Mount Buffalo Chalet und zu den Skigebieten. Nach weiteren 5 Minuten erreicht
man das kleine Skigebiet Dingo Dell. Hier finden vor allem Anfänger, an zwei parallel
verlaufenden Schleppliften ihr Revier.
Das Skigebiet Cresta Valley erreicht man nach weiteren 5 Minuten. Von der Mount Buffalo
Lodge starten ein sehr kurzer Doppelsessellift und ein kurzer Schlepplift, ideal für
Anfänger. Der "Cresta Double Chair" beginnt auch in der Nähe der Lodge. Das
ganze Skigebiet ist sehr familienfreundlich, da fast alle Abfahrten von der Lodge aus zu
überblicken sind. Der "Cresta Poma" ein Schlepplift führt über eine Kurve bis
auf 1610m hinauf. Hier oben kommen auch Fortgeschrittene auf ihre Kosten. Alle Pisten
enden wieder bei der Lodge und am Parkplatz.
After driving nearly half an hour through the Mount Buffalo National Park you can turn
left to the Mount Buffalo Chalet or you can drive another 5 minutes to the small ski
resort Dingo Dell. Here, on the two T-bars, it is a paradise for beginners.
The ski resort Cresta Valley is another 5 minutes drive from Dingo Dell. From the Mount
Buffalo Lodge starts the short double chair and the short t-bar, especially for beginners.
You also can take the Cresta Double Chair or the Cresta Poma with a curve to the top
(1610m). At the top of Cresta Poma you will find advanced runs. The ski resort is a family
friendly resort because you can have a look from the Lodge at all runs. All runs takes the
skier back to the Lodge. |
