| Die Skigebiete
Mount Norquay, Sunshine Village und
Lake Louise liegen alle
in der Nähe von Banff im Banff National Park.
Zum Mount Norquay sind es ca. 6 km von Banff aus, nach Sunshine Village
etwa 16 km und Lake Louise liegt ca. 60 km von Banff entfernt. In Banff selbst können Wanderer und Ausflügler mit der Sulphur Mountain Gondelbahn (1583m-2281m), die Talstation befindet sich am Rande von Banff, auf den 2281m hohen Sulphur Mountain schweben und den herrlichen Blick über die kanadischen Rockies genießen. Auch im Sommer ist die Fahrt mit der Gondel ein Erlebnis. Von Banff sind es auch nur wenige Gehminuten zum Märchenschloß Banff Springs Hotel, das man unbedingt besuchen sollte. Ein Muß in Banff... Als Restaurant, Steakhaus, Bar und Après-Ski empfehlen wir "Elk & Oarsman" (ehem. Barbary Coast) in der Banff Avenue, hier kann man die besten Steaks der Welt geniessen... Auch zum Shopping ist hier in Banff für jeden etwas geboten! |

| The ski resorts
Mount
Norquay, Sunshine Village
and Lake Louise
are located near Banff in the Banff National Park. To Mount Norquay
you have about 6 km, to Sunshine Village approx. 16 km and to Lake Louise
60 km from Banff. Hikers can take the Sulphur Mountain Gondola (1583m-2281m) to the Sulphur Mountain, 2281m, and you can enjoy the view around the Canadian Rockies. The gondola is open at any time of the year. But don´t forget to take a look at the Banff Springs Hotel, the Castle in the Rockies... As restaurant, steak house, bar and après-ski we recommened the "Elk & Oarsman" (ex. Barbary Coast) located at the Banff Avenue, where you can eat also the best steaks of the world... If you like shopping you are right in Banff, you have many shops and stores! |

Tours. Sie werden direkt von Ihrem Hotel abgeholt und machen einen
herrlichen Ausflug zu den Spray Lakes und lernen viel über die Hunde und
die Landschaft kennen. Das sollte man auf keinen Fall bei einem Besuch in
Banff versäumen ! And do not forget to make a dog sledding tour, for this adventure we recommend Howling Dog Tours. They pick you up at your hotel and you make a nice tour to the Spray Lakes and you learn about the dogs and the landscape. So do not miss it ! |
