Mit dem Auto fährt man bis zur 2040 Meter hoch gelegenen Base Station
hinauf. Von hier kann man dann die sehr leichte Abfahrt hinunter zur Dreiersesselbahn
nehmen, mit der man dann zu schweren Abfahrten hinaufschweben kann. Mittlere bis schwere
Abfahrten führen hinunter zum Backside Doppelsessellift, der ebenfalls bei der
Bergstation der Dreiersesselbahn endet und schwere Abfahrten führen auch wieder hinunter
zur Dreiersesselbahn. Um zum Farside Doppelsessellift zu gelangen kann man entweder von
der Bergstation der Dreiersesselbahn über einen Ziehweg hinübergleiten, oder vom Tal aus
mit dem Kurvenschlepplift South und über mittelschwere Abfahrten zu diesem Lift wedeln.
Am Farside Doppelsessellift findet man Abfahrten aller Schwierigkeitsgrade vor und hat
einen herrlichen Blick über die Berge von Kananaskis. Auf die Vorderseite des Skigebiets
gelangt man dann wieder entweder mit dem Kurvenschlepplift North oder der Backside
Doppelsesselbahn. Der Kurvenschlepplift North und South ist ein und der selbe Lift, der
die Vorderseite mit der Hinterseite des Skigebiets verbindet. Nahe der Base Station surrt
noch ein Anfänger-Schlepplift. Die Freestyle-Schanzen, die parallel zum Dreiersessellift
liegen werden von einen kurzen Schlepplift bedient.
You have to take the car up to Base Station, located at 2040 meters. From here you can
take the very easy run down to the triple chair. At the top of this lift ends also the
double chair Backside. Now you can choose between intermediate to advanced runs down to
the Backside double chair, or you can ski or ride down on advanced runs back to the triple
chair. To go to the Farside double chair you can ski or ride a very flat way from the top
of the triple chair, or you can take curved T-bar South and intermediate runs. At the
Farside double chair you find all sorts of runs and a very nice view around the Kananaskis
country mountains. To go back to the front side you can take the curved T-bar North or the
Backside double chair. The curved T-bar North and South is one lift who takes the people
from the front to the backside and back. Near to the base station is the Beginner´s
T-bar, especially for beginners. At the Freestyle park, located parallel to the triple
chair you will find another short T-bar. |
