| Kimberley - das bedeutet Skifahren durch herrliche
Wälder. Von der Base
Station aus führt die kuppelbare Vierersesselbahn North Star Express direkt hinauf
ins Skigebiet. Parallel dazu gibt es noch die Rosa Dreiersesselbahn, den Maverick
Schlepplift und die Buckhorn Doppelsesselbahn. Diese drei Lifte starten etwas oberhalb der
Base Station. Die Abfahrten an der Vorderseite des Berges sind leicht bis mittel und hier
finden auch Snowboarder ihr Revier, es gibt einen Funpark und eine Halfpipe. Wer es etwas
steiler mag kann über die Abfahrt Carper hinüber zum Easter Dreiersessellift wedeln. An
diesem Lift findet man herrliche Waldabfahrten aller Schwierigkeitsgrade. Rechts davon
gibt es auch schwere Abfahrten, die alle weiter unten an der Tamarack Doppelsesselbahn
enden. Von der Bergstation dieser Doppelsesselbahn gelangt man dann wieder zur
Talstation der Dreiersesselbahn oder man kann wieder hinunter zur Base Station schwingen.
An der Tamarak Doppelsesselbahn findet man auch schwere Waldabfahrten vor. Ganz unten an der Base Station surrt noch der
Owl-Schlepplift und es gibt ein Foerderband, speziell für die Anfänger. Kimberley - that means skiing or riding through the trees. From the base station the new high speed quad North Star Express takes you up to the ski hill. Parallel to this lift, the Rosa triple chair, the Maverick t-bar and the Buckhorn double chair takes you up to the hill, too. On the front side you will find easy to intermediate runs. Especially the snowboarders find a snowboard park and halfpipe at these lifts. If you like steeper runs through the trees you can ski or ride down the easy run Carper to the Easter triple chair. On the right side to this lift you find enough steep runs trough the trees . All the runs takes you down to the Tamarack double chair. You need this chair to go back to the base station or to go to the Easter triple chair again, but you find also steep runs at this lift. At the base station is the Owl t-bar and a magic carpet, especially for beginners. |
