In
Beaupré zweigt sich die Strasse vom Highway 138 ab und führt etwa noch
3km nach Mont Sainte Anne zu den Hotels und den Liften. Vom grossen
Parkplatz aus startet die kuppelbare Vierersesselbahn mit Abdeckhauben
L´Express du Sud hinauf Richtung Mont Sainte Anne. Im Anschluss an die
Bahn führt die Vierersesselbahn La Tortue, an der sich ein grosser
Funpark und Halfpipe für Snowboarder befindet, ganz hinauf zur Summit
Lodge am Gipfel. Hier oben enden auch die Achtergondelbahn L´Étoile
Filante, mit der man ohne Umsteigen direkt vom Tal zum Gipfel gelangt, die
kuppelbare Vierersesselbahn L´Express du Nord, sowie der Schlepplift
L´Échappée von der Nordseite und die Doppelsesslbahn La Sainte-Paix.
Von hier oben erreicht man fast jede Abfahrt im Skigebiet. Auf der
Nordseite, die man nur über den Gipfel erreicht sind zumeist leichte bis
mittelschwere Abfahrten und werden von der kuppelbaren Vierersesselbahn
L´Express du Nord und dem parallel verlaufenden Schlepplift L´Échappée
bedient. Weitere mittelschwere und schwere Pisten fuehren zum Schlepplift
La Corde Raide, der sich an der Westseite des Skigebietes befindet und
nahe dem Gipfel wieder endet. Auf der Südseite führen mittelschwere bis
leichte Waldschneisenabfahrten rechts der Gondelbahn zu Tale, entlang des
L´Express du Sud. Die Abfahrten auf der linken Seite der Gondelbahn sind
alle schwer bis sehr schwer und werden zusaetzlich noch von der
Dreiersesselbahn Le Trip und der Doppelsesselbahn La Sainte-Paix bedient.
Von den Abfahrten auf der Suedseite hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf den
St. Lorenz Strom. Für Anfänger stehen im Talbereich zwei Tellerlifte mit
leichten Übungspisten und die Doppelsesselbahn La Tempête zur Verfügung.
Zum Einkehren kann man am Gipfel in die Summit Lodge oder in das Chalet de
la Crête, auf der Nordseite gibt es nur Le Refuge à Charlie und auf der
Südseite hat man in Mont Sainte Anne einige Restaurants und Bars zur
Auswahl.
In Beaupré the Highway 138 branches and leads about 3km up to Mont Sainte Anne to the hotels and
ski lifts. From the large parking lots the high speed quad with bubbles L'Express du Sud starts
with direction Mont Sainte Anne. Following the quad La Tortue leads, along
a large funpark and halfpipe for snowboarders, completely up to the Summit
Lodge at the peak. Also the eight person gondola L'Étoile Filante, with which
you reach the peak directly from the valley, ends here as well as the high speed quad L'Express du Nord, as well as the
t-bar L'Échappée from the north side and the double chair La Sainte-Paix. From here you can reach
nearly every slope in the ski resort. The north side has been made
available with the high speed quad L'Express du Nord and parallel to this
lift the t-bar L'Échappée. The runs are easy to intermediate. Further
some advanced and intermediate runs lead to the t-bar La Corde Raide, which is at the
West side of the ski resort and ends near the summit, too. On the south side
intermediate to easy runs through forest aisles lead down to the valley on the right
side of the gondola, along the L'Express du Sud. On these slopes is night
skiing every day until 10 p.m. The runs on the left side of the gondola are
advanced and very steep and you have the triple chair Le Trip and the double
chair La Sainte- Paix which serves these runs, too. From the slopes on the
south side you have a wonderful view of the Saint Lawrence River. For beginners
are two t-bars in the valley with very easy runs and the double chair La Tempête.
For a break you can visit at the summit the Summit Lodge or the Chalet de la Crête, on the north side
it is only the Le Refuge à Charlie and on the south side you have some
restaurants and bars in Mont Sainte Anne to choose... |
