| Direkt
am Ort Kranjska Gora starten einige Teller- und Schlepplifte, sowie die
kuppelbare Vierersesselbahn Dolencev Rut, die zumeist leichte und sehr
breite Anfängerpisten erschliessen. An der Vierersesselbahn findet täglich Nachtskilauf statt. Um zu den schweren Pisten am Podkoren zu
gelangen muss man mit der Vierersesselbahn Vitranc I hinauffahren und kann
dann die Weltcuppiste erreichen. Die Einersesselbahn Vitranc II hinauf auf
den gleichnamigen 1570m hohen Berg ist im Winter für Skifahrer nicht mehr
in Betrieb. Die Abfahrten am Weltcuphang Podkoren I werden zusätzlich
noch von 2 schnellen Tellerliften und der Vierersesselbahn Podkoren bedient. Zu den Familienliften,
unterhalb des 1745m hohen Ciprnik, gelangt man über einen Ziehweg, der
oberhalb der Talstation Podkoren I abzweigt (Achtung: nicht beschildert!).
Hier in Podkoren II surren 3 Schlepplifte und die Doppelsesselbahn Velika
dolina bis hinauf auf 1110m, die eine lange, im oberen Teil mittlere,
ansonsten leichte, breite Piste erschliessen. Zurück nach Kranjska Gora
muss man ein kurzes Stück an der Strasse entlang um zur Vierersesselbahn
Podkoren zu gelangen, mit der man dann von der Bergstation aus ueber eine
mittelschwere Abfahrt wieder nach Kranjska Gora gelangt. Könner werden
die Abfahrten in Podkoren I lieben, da sie sehr anspruchsvoll sind. Zum
Einkehren gibt es im Skigebiet selbst, ausser ein paar kleiner Hütten nicht
viel. In Kranjska Gora findet man Hotels und Restaurants vor, teilweise
nicht direkt an der Piste. Nahe den Sprungschanzen Planica surren noch 2 weitere Schlepplifte, die leichte Abfahrten erschliessen... Directly at the edge of Kranjska Gora start some t-bars and the high speed quad Dolencev Rut to easy and wide beginner slopes. At the quad is daily night skiing. To go to the advanced runs in Podkoren you have to take the quad chair Vitranc I to reach the World Cup run. The single chair Vitranc II, up the 1570m high Vitranc, is in winter closed for the skiers and riders. The slopes at the World Cup run are served by two fast t-bars and the quad chair Podkoren. To the family slopes, below the 1745m high Ciprnik, you have to take a flat way, which branches above the base station Podkoren I (Attention: no signs!). In Podkoren II you can choose between three t-bars and the double chair lift Velika dolina up to 1110m. The slopes are very easy and wide, exept at the top station of the double chair. Back to Kranjska Gora you have to walk a short way near the street to reach the quad chair Podkoren. With this lift you go up and then you have to ski an intermediate run down to Kranjska Gora. Advanced skiers or riders like the challenging runs at Podkoren I. There are not many restaurants in the ski resort (on the mountain), in Kranjska Gora you have hotels and restaurants, but not all directly at the slopes. Near the ski jumps Planica are two more t-bars, which serves only easy slopes... |
