The pool area offers a swim up pool bar, open air resort style swimming pool, jacuzzi and children pool in a very nice setting with palms and greens. The hotel has 43rd floors and from the upper floors you have an excellent view via Dubai and the sea, as well as to the new developping "The World Island". The restaurants are very recommendable and the breakfast buffet us much more than a breakfast buffet, served at the Dunes Café. In the 1st floor are the Balcony Bar, the Hoi An (Vietnam with its French influence) and the Chinese restaurant Shang Palace. In the 2nd floor are the seafood restaurant AmWaj (Waves) and the Marrakech (Marocco). The Dunes Café offers also for lunch and dinner endless fresh, tempting buffets as well as a la carte. There is a huge assortment and the guest has a lot of possibilities to for excellent food. The Lobby Lounge is open 24 hours. The staff is very courteous and friendly and due to the short drive (15 min.) to the airport this hotel is very good for a stopover in Dubai.

The Grand Hyatt is very gernerous and very comfortable designed. The opening was in March 2003. Inside the hotel you have numerous stylish and excellent restaurants and Cafés located in the large Atrium Gardens with small creeks, water falls and lakes with fishes. If you like Sushi, Asian cuisine or American cuisine you will find everything. The pool area is the largest one in Dubai, with water fall, water slides, childrens pool and offer a lot of space for relaxing including a nice pool bar. You have always a lot of fresh towels at the pools and on the sun beds. The Grand Spa offers fitness facilities, squash, an indoor pool with whirlpool and massages. During the Ramadan 2006 they offered the new Arabian Cocoon Body Wrap. This is a 90-minute treatment including massage, peeling and chocolate pack. Simply pure recovery. Separate saunas, steam rooms and whirlpools for men and women are also available. Here is the place for the massages, too. Not only the structural works is very agreeable but also the employees are very friendly, helpful and couteous. A stay at this hotel is a highlight, where you not only sleep, here you enjoy all the time. Very recommendable.
