WELTREKORD! 3 Skigebiete auf 2 Kontinenten an 1 Tag Am 31.03.2007 bin ich auf beiden Seiten des Atlantiks Ski gefahren - von Tirol nach Colorado und auf beiden Seiten der Continental Divide... 1ST WORLD RECORD! 3 ski resorts on 2 continents on 1 day On the 31st March.2007 I skied on both sides of the Atlantic Ski - from Tyrol to Colorado and on both sides of the Continental Divide...

30.03.2007 - Ankunft auf der Kristallhütte, 2147 m, Kaltenbach/Hochzillertal 30.03.2007 - Arrival at the Kristallhuette, 7045 ft, Kaltenbach/Hochzillertal
Ankunft an der Mittelstation Arrival at the mid station	19.40 Uhr - Ankunft an der Mittelstation der Hochzillertaler Bergbahnen - leider ist die Abfahrt ins Tal nicht mehr möglich, daher musste ich mit dem Auto zur Mittelstation 7.40 p.m. - arrival at the mid station of the Hochzillertaler Lifts - due to lack of snow the run down to the valley was not possible, so I drove with my car to the mid station 20.05 Uhr - Die Sonne ist gerade am Horizont verschwunden. Es fängt an zu schneien... 8.05 p.m. - the sun went down. It begins to snow…
20.39 Uhr - Das Gourmetmenü auf der Kristallhütte wird serviert - hervorragend 8.39 p.m. - the gourmet menue on the Kristallhuette is served - outstanding	Ein Willi verbindet A "Willi" connects	22.04 Uhr - Ein Glas Rotwein am offenen Kamin 10.04 p.m. - a glass of red wine at the open fire-place

4.45 Uhr - Der Wecker klingelt, schnell duschen, anziehen, eine kleine Stärkung und ab auf die Piste. Durch die Sommerzeit ist es noch dunkel... 4.45 a.m. - the bell rings, a fast shower, tightens, a small stabilization and off to the slope. Due to the summer time it is still dark...	Die Ski sind startklar The skis are ready	5.25 Uhr - Es geht los, die ersten Bögen bis ich beim Kreuzen der Schlepplifte meine beiden Ski verliere... 5.25 a.m. - let´s start, after the first curves I lost my skis as I wanted to cross the t-bars...
5.32 Uhr - Es geht weiter, zum Glück sind die Pisten im Gebiet von Hochzillertal hervorragend praepariert und haben einen Zentimeter frische Pulverschneeauflage so das ich sicher zur Mittelstation abfahren kann... 5.32 a.m. - it continues, fortunately, the slopes are outstanding prepared in the area of Hochzillertal and a centimeter of fresh powder snow is also on the slopes, so I reach the mid station very safe	5.46 Uhr - die knapp 1000 Höhenmeter sind geschafft... 5.46 a.m. - the scarcely 1000 vertical meters are done 5.55 Uhr - Auf nach München zum Flughafen 5.55. a.m. - on to Munich to the airport	7.31 Uhr - Das Auto parkt und mit einer Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit von 119 km/h bin ich die 182 Kilometer vom Zillertal relativ zügig vorangekommen... 7.31 a.m. - the car parks and with an average speed of 119 km/h I drove the 182 kilometers from the Zillertal relatively quick
Am Flughafen - Jayne Buck - Vice President of Tourism von Denver At the airport - Jayne Buck - Vice President of Tourism from Denver	9.00 Uhr - Mit Blasmusik und Lebkuchenherzen wird der Jungfernflug von München nach Denver gefeiert und um 9.30 geht es auch schon los... 9.00 a.m. - with blowing music and gingerbread hearts the maiden flight is celebrated from Munich to Denver and around 9.30 the airbus rolls to the runway	9.38 Uhr - Der Airbus hebt ab Richtung Denver 9.38 a.m. - the airbus takes off to Denver
11.55 Uhr - 10 Minuten zu früh landet die Lufthansa-Maschine LH 480 in Denver, dort werden wir von der Feuerwehr mit einem Wasserbogen festlich begrüsst... Die Sonne scheint und es hat 15 Grad! 11.55 a.m. - 10 minutes too early, the Lufthansa airplane LH 480 lands in Denver, there we welcomed by the fire-brigade with a water elbow festively... The sun shines and it has about 15 degrees!	12.15 Uhr - Die Einreiseformalitäten sind kein Problem es geht schnell voran 12.15 p.m. - the entry formalities are not a problem it precede fast 12.25 Uhr - Mein Koffer ist da, aber leider fehlen die Ski - es gibt Probleme mit dem Förderband... 12.25 p.m. - my suitecase is here, but unfortunately my ski bag is missing - there are problems with the conveyor	12.55 Uhr - Endlich kommen auch meine Ski, 1 Stunde nach der Landung! 12.55 p.m. - finally my ski bag is here, 1 hour after the landing 13.11 Uhr - Mit dem Bus geht es nun zum Hertz Autoverleih, leider zieht es sich hier wieder ein bisschen, so das ich erst kurz vor 14 Uhr starten kann... 1.11 p.m. - the bus takes me to the Hertz car rental, but it needs a lot of time so that I can start short before 2 p.m.
13.55 Uhr - Endlich es ist geschafft, ich sitze im Auto und düse Richtung Rockies, es sind knapp 80 Meilen bis Loveland... 1.55 p.m. - finally I sit in my car and drive direction Rocky Mountains, I have about 80 miles to drive until I reach Loveland	Endlich in Loveland Finally in Loveland	15.10 Uhr - Ankunft in Loveland, schnell die Ski anschnallen und ab auf den Berg 3.10 p.m. - arrival in Loveland, take the ski and up on the mountain
Schneesturm in Loveland Snow storm in Loveland	15.39 Uhr - Das Wetter hat umgeschlagen und es stürmt und schneit - gefühlte -20 Grad - der Wind ist so stark das die Sessel gegen die Stützen schlagen... 3.39 p.m. - the weather has changed and it is snowing and very windy - wind chill of -20 degrees - the wind is so strong that the chairs bump against the towers...	Auf 3743m angekommen Arrived at 12280 ft
15.43 Uhr - nachdem ich mit Chair 2 und 4 gefahren bin kann ich endlich zur The Ridge Vierersesselbahn abfahren... 3.43 p.m. - after riding chair 2 and 4 I can ski down to The Ridge Quad...	The Ridge Vierersessel bis auf 3871m The Ridge quad up to 12700 ft.	15.50 Uhr - aufgrund des starken Windes ist die Bahn den ganzen Tag nicht in Betrieb gewesen... 3.50 p.m. - due to the high winds the chair was the hole day not in service...
15.59 Uhr - schnell noch mit dem Chair 1 hinauf zum Rock House auf 3598 m bevor die Lifte um 16 Uhr schliessen - geschafft... 3.59 p.m. - fast still with the Chair 1 up to the Rock House at 11804 ft m before the lifts close at 4 p.m. - done	Die Patrol wartet auf die letzten Gäste The patrol awaits the last guests	16.15 Uhr - wieder am Auto schnell einpacken und weiter Richtung Keystone, ich entscheide mich für den Weg über den Loveland Pass, passiere die Continental Divide es geht weiter vorbei am Skigebiet Arapahoe Basin... 4.15 p.m. - back into the car and direction Keystone, I take the road via the Loveland Pass, pass the continental Divide drove by the ski resort Arapahoe Basin...
Ankunft in Keystone Arrival in Keystone	16.51 Uhr - Ankunft in Keystone, nach gesamt 92 Meilen von Denver. Jetzt werden die Pisten frisch für das Nachtskifahren präpariert, daher checke ich gleich in der Buffalo Lodge, direkt am Skilift ein... 4.51 p.m. - arrival in Keystone, I drove 92 miles from Denver. Now they groom the runs, so I check in first into the Buffalo Lodge, next to the ski lifts	Im River Run Village At the River Run Village
18.05 Uhr - Das 3. Skigebiet Keystone - die Beleuchtung ist im grössten Nachtskigebiet von Colorado bereits eingeschaltet und mit der Gondelbahn geht es nach oben... 6.05 p.m. - the 3rd ski resort Keystone - the lights of the largest night ski resort in Colorado are already burning and I take the gondola up to the runs...	Auffahrt mit der Gondelbahn Approach with the gondola	19.00 Uhr - langsam wird es richtig dunkel, aber das Skifahren macht jetzt so richtig Spass, denn das Ziel ist geschafft und ein neuer Weltrekord wurde aufgestellt... 7.00 p.m. - now it is getting dark, but the skiing is real fun, I have reached my goal - a new world record...
Funpark am Peru Express Funpark at the Peru Express	20.12 Uhr - Es ist genug ich fahre ab und gehe ins Hotel, der Whirlpool im Freien hat bis 22 Uhr geöffnet und dort lasse ich den Tag ausklingen... 8.12 p.m. - it is enough, I ski down and go into my hotel, the outdoor hot tub is open until 10.00 p.m. and there I end the day...	Abfahrt nach Keystone Run down to Keystone
01.04.2007 - Breckenridge - die höchste Vierersesselbahn der Welt 01.04.2007 - Breckenridge - the world´s highest quad
Breckenridge und Beaver Creek habe ich mir dann die nächsten Tage noch angeschaut, bevor es wieder zurück nach Deutschland ging... Breckenridge and Beaver Creek I still looked at myself the next days, before it went again back to Germany...	Die Bergstation liegt auf 3914m The top station is at 12840 ft.	Die Ankunft in München war pünktlich am 04.04.07 um 7.40 Uhr mit dem Direktflug aus Denver... The arrival in Munich was punctual on the 04.04.07 at 7.40 a.m. with the direct flight from Denver...
