| Für
die Snowboarder, die nach Valle Nevado kommen gibt es eine F.I.S. (Internationale Skiing
Federation) geprüfte Halfpipe, die mit eigenem Gerät gepflegt und gewartet wird.
Während der ersten Woche im September findet in Valle Nevado der "World Cup of
Snowboarding" von Südamerika statt. For the Snowboarders who will be joining us, Valle Nevado boasts a Half Pipe run which is acknowledged and approved by the F.I.S. (International Skiing Federation) and for which special maintenance machinery is being acquired. Additionally, during the first week of September, Valle Nevado will hold "World Cup of Snowboarding" in South America. |

| Vom Stadtrand Santiago fährt man eine gute Stunde die 40 Kehren hinauf nach
Farellones, wo man rechts nach Valle Nevado abbiegen muss und fährt dann nochmals gute 15
Minuten hinauf zur Hotelburg Valle Nevado. Vom Parkplatz und den Hotels kann man direkt
zur Vierersesselbahn El Mirador schwingen und gelangt somit auf den 3300m hohen Cima
Mirador und kann über mittelschwere, breite Pisten zur neuen kuppelbaren Vierersesselbahn
(die erste in Chile) Andes Express fahren. Von hier oben erreicht man fast jeden Punkt in
dem Skigebiet. Schwere Abfahrten führen direkt unterhalb des Liftes zu Tale. Einige
mittelschwere Abfahrten führen ebenfalls wieder zur Talstation des Andes Expresses. Biegt
man auf der Hälfte rechts ab, so gelangt man über einen Ziehweh nach El Colorado
zum Schlepplift Cono Este (Achtung: es wird ein extra Skipass benötigt!) Über den
Ziehweg Camino Alto kann man entweder über den Paso Stern schieben oder mit dem
Tellerlift Valle del Inca auf 3521m fahren und gelangt somit in das Skigebiet von
La Parva
(Achtung: es wird ebenfalls ein extra Skipass benötigt!) und kann dort direkt bis ins Tal
abfahren. Fährt man jedoch am Tellerlift Valle del Inca weiter, so gelangt man zum
Tellerlift Tres Puntas. Dieser Lift zieht einen über eine Kurve bis zum höchsten Punkt
in dem Skigebiet auf 3670m. Von hier oben starten eine leichte, eine mittlere und die
schwere Abfahrt Shake. Es gibt hier herrliche Tiefschneemöglichkeiten. Mit dem Tellerlift
Las Ballicas gelangt man wieder zurück bis unterhalb der Bergstation des Andes Expresses.
Über die mittlere Abfahrt El Sol gelangt man bis zum tiefsten Punkt in dem Skigebiet, der
Talstation der Dreiersesselbahn El Prado auf 2860m. Hier kommt man auch an, wenn man
von El Colorado nach Valle Nevado wechselt. Will man zu den Hotels zurück, so nimmt man
am besten die Doppelsesselbahn El Vaiven oder den Tellerlift Escondia, der direkt bei der
Vierersesselbahn El Mirador startet. Für Anfänger gibt es einen Babylift direkt bei den Hotels und nahe der Doppelsesselbahn El Vaiven surren weiter zwei Seillifte. An dieser Doppelsesselbahn finden Snowboarder auch eine perfekt gepflegte Halfpipe... Valle Nevado bietet die modernsten Lifte der drei Skigebiete um Santiago und es gibt unzählige Möglichkeiten auch ausserhalb der Pisten zu fahren... It`s about one hour by car from Santiago to Farellones, on the last miles it`s a mountain road with 40 turns. You have to keep to the right in Farellones to get to Valle Nevado (another 15 minutes by car). You can ski directly from the parking lots or the hotels to the quad El Mirador, which takes you to the Cima Mirador, 3300 meters above sea level. From its top station you can ski down intermediate and wide runs to the new built detachable quad (The first one in Chile!) Andes Express. From here you can get to almoust any place of the ski resort and some expert runs are just underneath the lift. Some intermediate ones lead you to the base station of the Andes Express. If you makes a turn right on half way down of this slope, you can get to the ski resort El Colorado and its t-bar Cone Este (Attention: You need an extra ticket!). If you would like to ski La Parva, You have take the ski runs Camino Alto or the t-bar Valle del Inca, but there is also an extra ticket necessary. But from the top station of this lift you can ski down to the valley in La Parva. You remain in Valle Nevado if you take the t-bar Tres Puntas afterwards, which lifts you to the highest point of the resort in 3670 meters. From here you can choose to ski an easy, an intermediate or the or the expert run Shake to the t-bar Las Ballicas which takes you back nearly to the top station of the Andes Express. The intermediate run leads you to the lowest point of the ski resort, the base station of the triple chair El Prado at 2860m. Here you also arrive when you come from El Colorado. If you like to return to the Hotels, it´s best to take the double chair El Vaiven or the t-bar Escondia, starting next to the quad El Mirador. For beginners, there is a small lift close by the hotels and two rope tows beside the double chair El Vaiven as well as a wonderful halfpipe for snowboarders. In Valle Nevado you find the most modern lifts of the three ski resorts around Santiago and countless possibilities to ski beyond the normal ski runs... |
