Alle an Bord ! Pünktliche Abfahrt um 18 Uhr in Venedig, durch den Giudeccakanal geht es vorbei am bekannten Markusplatz mit dem 110m hohen Glockenturm, der Insel S. Elena hinauf auf das offene Mittelmeer. Das Schiff fährt die ganze Nacht an der italienischen Küste entlang bis es schließlich gegen Mittag des nächsten Tages Bari erreicht. Gegen Mittag wird Katakolon
erreicht, nachdem das Schiff die Insel Levkas, den berühmten Ithaka-Kanal
(nur 1 Seemeile (1852m) breit), die Insel Kefalonia und die Insel Zakintos
passiert hat. Katakolon ist ein kleiner Hafen, der der knapp 40 km entfernt von der Stadt Olympia liegt. Hier gibt es nette Restaurants und man kann griechische Köstlichkeiten geniessen. Ausflüge nach Olympia können direkt am Schiff gebucht werden, oder man kann von Katakolon auch ein Taxi (ca. 50,- EUR) nehmen. Um 18 Uhr nimmt das Schiff dann südlichen Kurs auf Santorini und es geht in ca. 4 km Entfernung entlang der bekannten Küste der Peleponnes und weiter vorbei am Kap Tainaro... |

erreicht und mit Tenderbooten wird man an das Ufer gebracht. Santorini hebt sich durch das besondere Erscheinungsbild von den anderen Inseln der Kykladen ab und ist eine der meistbesuchtesten Inseln. Die Stadt Fira liegt oben auf dem Berg und man kann entweder hinauflaufen, oder mit Eseln hinaufreiten. Am schnellsten geht es mit der Seilbahn, mit der man in knapp 3 Minuten die Stadt erreicht und einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die Bucht hat. In the morning the ship
arrives in Santorini and the tender boats transport the guests to the
shore. Santorini is one of the most exciting island in the island group of
the Kykladen and has the most visitors. The town of Fira is located on the
hill and you can reach the village by walking or riding on a donkey. The
fastest way is the cable
car. You need nearly 3 minutes to reach the village and you have a
very nice view around the bay. Early in the afternoon the ship cruises
direction Mykonos and arrives there on the same day. |

Das Machtsymbol von Rhodos war
der auf einem 10m hohem Steinfundament stehende Koloss von Rhodos. Es war
eine 35m hohe Bronzestatue, die direkt an der Hafeneinfahrt stand und vor
etwa 1000 Jahren durch ein Erdbeben zerstört wurde. Der Hafen befindet
sich direkt vor den Stadtmauern und so kann man in wenigen Minuten vom

The power symbol of Rhodos
was on a 10 m high stone foundation the Coloss of Rhodos. It was a 35m
high bronze statue, which stood directly at the port entrance and was
destroyed before approximately 1000 years by an earthquake. The port is
directly in front of the city wall and in such a way you can reach the
city in few minutes from the ship. It is no problem to visit everything by
your own. Here you have nearly the whole day time, until the ship takes
course direction the north at 6 p.m. The next day is spent at sea... |
